Assets submitted to D&AD:
Roku Gin is one of Suntory’s most well crafted spirits. Roku means six, a nod to the six ingredients that go into making the drink.

To design a brand identity for Roku 0.0, we noticed that drinking environments tend to prefer one kind of drinker over the other. 

With Roku 0.0, we wanted to drive a message of inclusion, by positioning Roku 0.0 as just a non-alcoholic extension of the original. We wanted to give our audience an equal opportunity to decide between the alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.
To visually depict this message, we created an inverted hexagonal bottle (preserving Roku’s six-sided form), which sits side by side the original on pub shelves.

A pub shelf with both bottles stacked side by side gives the user an equal chance to decide which drink they would like for the day.
The inverted hexagonal theme is replicated and scaled across all brand extensions of Roku 0.0, from the label to promotional collateral.
