Redesigning a Chapter Book Series

Adding chapter illustrations to five chapter books to premiumise the new edition.

These books tell tales of resilience from Rural India, and my illustration style is thus, raw, messy and rooted in Indian culture.

Process

Exploring illustration styles, layouts, and page number design.

Exploring illustrating the main plot of a story through a frame by frame animation across all chapter illustrations. In this book, the main plot was a destructive sea storm.

EXTRA EXTRA CHOROMOSOME, EXTRAORDINARY LOVE (2023)

Extra is a children’s chapter book exploring Down Syndrome.
